Table Runner

I took a weaving class at Yarn Barn, Way to much fun for this geek. We learned about different looms, how to set them up, and then did a small project. If you have ever thought of buying a loom I highly recomend this class!

Ice Cream Cone

I took a crochet class at Yarn Barn and this is my first project.
Pooch's mom's new sweetie is a big ice cream fan, so I made him this ice cream cone, about the right size to wrap your Ben & Jerry's in so your hands don't get cold. Pattern

Rowan's Baby Blanket

Started before she was born, finished when she was 14 months, took me about 16 months to finish. Ended up larger then I planned. Size 11 circular needle, 200 stitches across. 7 skeins of yarn. Wanted a ROY G. BIV rainbow. Patons Canadiana worsted weight yarn 100% Acrylic, 228 yds - Machine Washable and dryable. The purple looks more purple then the photos shows.

Baby Handcuffs

For one of the massive baby booms I am made about ten pairs of baby handcuffs
They are a thumbless mitten pattern by Marion Graham out of Leaflet 391 "Mittens and Hats". I made them out of Reynolds Saucy 100% Cotton Mercerized tan and black yarn. On size 7 and 5 needles

Green Stripped Socks

Project Started during Yarn Barn Sock Class in November 2001 and finished March 2002.
I made these for my partners mother for Easter.
I used Encore Worsted Weight 75% Acrylic 25% Wool in Green and Light Green. Size 4 metal double point needles.
This is the one and only pair of socks I will make with this light of yarn or this small of needles! The tops of the socks are done in a Braided Top, which is a pain but looks really kewl. The downside is that the top does not stretch very much. This was my first attempt at stripes - I decided to go with random strips 2-10 rows wide. The leg part of the sock is 6". Heel is done in 'Wide Dutch' style and there is a Wedge Toe.
